KOVAN Innovative Entrepreneurs Associationis a non-profit organization established by innovative entrepreneursin Ankara in 2022. The team of KOVAN consistof academics, engineers, entrepreneurs, trainers and students.
KOVAN means hive in Turkish language, it symbolizes the collaboration, all members of KOVAN are like bees and the work units are like honeycombs which enable bees to produce honey. The research team of innovative entrepreneurs, like bees collecting nectar from different flowers, regularly follows the latest developments in the world and in the sector and conveys information and ideas to the bees in the hive by determining the sectoral needs.
A continuous development, change and production is observed in each honeycomb in the hive. Honeycombs interact with each other. Bees specialized in project design, entrepreneurship, start-ups, training material development, engineering and informatics work interdisciplinary and constantly produce projects.
KOVAN located inside the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone in Ankara which can be considered as an advantage to build a strong network between the entrepreneurs, companies universities, vocational schools and local authorities. KOVAN maintains good relations with

Vocational schools and training centers host hundreds of students mainly coming from rural areas of counties face social-economic obstacles. These students are trained as intermediate staff and probably will stop their study lives after high school, in case of lack of skills this target group can face with unemployment, this means it is possible for them to turn to NEET Youth.
NEET means ‘Youth not in employment, education or training’.
Young people need skill development and informal education beside their formal school life to find jobs. KOVAN is planning to play an important role in its area to support young people with these obstacles and combat with NEET unemployment.

> developing training models, programs, methodologies and tools in the fields of skill development, empowerment, innovation and entrepreneurship;
> combat against youth unemployment;
> to support lifelong learning;
> to support technological, innovative and digital transformation in rural areas;
> to promote skill development, entrepreneurship and innovation in rural areas;
> supporting the skill development of young people, especially for new professions;to support and disseminate volunteering activities;
> supporting entrepreneurs and incubators (start-ups);
> to raise awareness about soft skills and transversal skills;
> through culture, arts, sports support people to connect with their inner power and skills.
